Clear search list in Android Market?

How do I clear the search list in the Android Market? I tried clearing all the searches everywhere else, but nothing clears the Android Market list.

TIA.
 
It's my understanding that the Market database is linked to your gmail user account. To clear that, you would have to go to Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset. I don't know what other data you're going to lose, so you might not want to do this.

One of my backup apps has an option to save my Market db ... perhaps there is an app that clears it. ???

Anybody?

Lol. No, well, not on my phone anyway. ;) But I've had this thing for about 6 days now and I'm moderately obsessed with it and I've been searching for all kinds of stuff in Market (I'm coming from a Blackberry and I'm not used to an app store that's actually worth using) and my search list is getting pretty lengthy. I was just curious if I could clear it, but if messenger13 is right, I'm not gonna play guinea pig to see what else gets cleared. Ha!

The Factory data reset is just that... a factory reset. It takes the phone back to factory defaults and wipes everything on the phone. I had one of my folks have an issue with corp email and we had to finally use the reset and it wiped it clean... also fixed the problem though... ;)
 
Google won't allow Marketplace apps that include any nudity.. Flash 10.1 will provide more than enough of that.. :P
 
if you have a rooted phone you can download a cache clearing app from the market or just boot into recovery and there should be a wipe cache option. either of those should clear the market. if you do the recovery way, make sure you don't wipe data or you will lose your apps.

Someone posted there WAS a disney app that was a cover up for a Porn site that WAS in the market but it has since been reported and removed. Clearing searches is just another thing that the Droid DOESN'T it seems.
 
LOL....The apps are full of porn! and yes, with kids trying to fine some Disney stuff, I could not beleive the stuff under the disney search and I was one of them to report it!
