Cleared Google framework services now no notifications

Hi, i was in another thread on note 2 boards and complaining that I hadn't had the latest update yet and someone suggested I clear my Google framework services, which I did, but still no update. I have since not had a single notification for Facebook, words with friends or battles with friends. I've checked all settings and they are still enabled. Can anyone help before I have to do a factory reset as i would ideally like to avoid that.
Thank you in advance whether you read and can't help or if you have a solution

All sorted now. It seems Facebook was the issue as all the games used Facebook login. Uninstalled Facebook and the games, reinstalled the whole lot and hey presto, notifications have returned.

Hi. I have a 1 week old Laser Quad Core MID_1060 tablet with Android. I keep getting the message "Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped" and also "Unfortunately, Google Services Framework has stopped" the messages come so frequently that I cannot download the regservo_setup fix that I understand might fix it. I downloaded that file onto my Windows PC and moved it onto the tablet but the messages stop me from being able to run it. I cannot get into Settings to see if I can find where to reset to factory defaults. So I am at the point where I want to return it to the store . Any other suggestions?

have you tried to open up Play Store since you cleared the cache?

For me, that fixed my problem. IIRC, I had to uninstall Play Store and then reinstall it.
