Help Cleared misc files - HELP

PLEASE HELP !!

mistakenly cleared all my misc files - Android phone

how do I recover my Important files ??

misc files are usually not important anyway. what files are you missing in the first place?

I dnt back up anyth; dnt think I've ever done with this phone

pictures; videos; music..

tried playstore to get sm application 2assist.. they're all not working as promised

I was actually trying to free space for an update on an application

that's how I got there; & bam! it did it

now everything is gone except downloaded stuff #aFewof

If you didn't backup, then they're all gone. You can recover something when there's nothing to recover them from.

Where were they to begin with? Were they stored on the devices internal memory or on an external SD Card.

If the latter, you can try an app called recuva to get them back. If the former, they're gone.

yes; internal memory

and yes; I used that recuva but it kept showing stuffs unknown.. some Chinese cartoon pictures

..files not from.my phone

No offence, but I'm not sure what you'd expect if you deleted them without having a backup?

If you want a cloud backup, take a look at Dropbox or Google Photos. Both can automatically backup media files on your device to the cloud when you're connected to a wifi network.

100% serious you can't get them back.

There are utilities like Disk Digger and others on Google Play that you can try. To be completely honest, I have not had much luck using them, but maybe you will have more success than I had.

Do a search in the Play Store using the key words "File Recovery" and there may be more utilities to try.
