Clearing Cookies

There's a forum that I visit occasionally but have no wish to join. After ten visits it tells me that I've excluded my limit and must sign up. On my PC I simply go into my browser's 'tools' section and clear any cookies that this site has left on my computer and I can then start visiting again.

How can I do this on my Samsung Galaxy S2? I clear the cache and have cleared all data in my Dolphin browser but to no avail.

Where are cookies stored in Android and how do I delete them?

Thanks.

Sorry if it's the wrong forum but I don't think that this is a specific Galaxy S2 or application problem.

If that forum site is storing IP addresses of visitors, your cookie clearing regimen may not exclude you from their visit count associated with the device you are using to go there.

Thanks, but if it's storing IP addresses, why does clearing cookies work on my PC?

Are cookies stored in Android and if so where?

The site may not be harvesting the IP addresses and associating them with the cookie data. If so, that's good. ;)

I'm running Gingerbread on my X2, along with Boat Browser. Boat and Dolphin have menu selections which allow the user to remove all cookies right then or upon exit of the browser. If removing those cookies is not affecting the arrival count of the site, I still suspect the IP association. Perhaps your computer is on a dynamic system (dhcp) which changes IP addresses routinely, and your device's IP is static and thus stored at the site.
