Clock/Dock?

Hey All - short of NFC or a dock - is there any way to use the phone as a clock - and the display staying on?

I'm guessing it's something fairly simple that I'm missing.

Open the clock. You'll probably see a bar with Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch, and Timer. Scroll that bar to the left and you'll see Desk Clock. Select that.

OK - I'm completely clueless. I SWEAR that's what I did - and - it didn't work. It seems fine now.

There is another option as well.. There is an application called Dock Simulator in the Playstore for free. It will allow you to put your phone into "Home/Car" dock mode and also turn it off.

I use it to test apps and interfaces like I would use them in the vehicle without actually having to be "IN" the vehicle.
