Root Clockwork mod roms

Im new with Captivate im use to Hero and Droid. I have Clockwork installed and Cyanogen 7 stable. What other Roms can i play with that dont use Odin. I want to be able flash from the phone and PC. Also when pre-installation through Rom manager do i wipe all 3 backup existing, wipe/data dalvik? Everytime i do this it says verify SD card then starts booting my existing rom everytime. Also SD partitioning stays at 256 mb/32mb no matter how i change it boots the same. What roms will i be able to use with Clockwork only?
 
I think the only other ROM you could try with your current might be MIUI, due to the bootloaders. I could be wrong though. If you wanna try another, you might have to flash to stock and install the required bootloaders. I dont have any experience with CM7 so I cant say for sure, I'm just going off posts I have read on XDA.
