Help Closing apps on thunderbolt

scb123

Lurker
I've read many different forums about closing apps, but I wasn't sure if it's different for the Thunderbolt. Has anyone had luck closing out apps on the Thunderbolt? Is there an app kill I should download? I feel like there is always a lot running in my recent apps folder. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Just an FYI, you aren't giving a tip. You are asking for support. You miscategorized your post. You probably won't get much help unless you change to support.

The Android OS automatically kills certain apps that are no longer needed. There is no problem with downloading Advanced Task Killer and using that whenever you feel the need. I notice often that there are certain apps I got out of hours ago that are still up, thus prompting me to use ATK.

Everybody has an opinion on the task killers, judge for yourself :)

Menu + exit app

If it doesn't have that option then just back out and your phone will do the rest. Some apps are a pain and keep opening so get task killer and a few times a day close all them out at once. just make sure task killer isnt set to do it on its own and a few of your apps like Lookout arent checked off to close.

Thank you everyone! Just wasn't sure if all the items in my 'recent apps' folder were running or not. I'm used to a blackberry when you don't close them out, they're still there when you hold the blackberry button. Thank you again! I guess I should do some looking into an app kill.
