Cloth to make curtain or divider?

ocnbrze

DON'T PANIC!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys,
so i am working on an aquarium project that is almost done. I basically need a cloth of some sort to hide all of my filtration and plumbing underneath my tank. i had to basically rip off the doors to the stand to get the filter in and plumbed. now i'm trying to hide it all and i can't do that with the doors to the stand no longer there. the stand is black.

so what i'm looking for is a black cloth of some sort where i can either use velcro or glue(?) to adhere it to the stand to hide everything. it can't be to expensive and i only need a little bit of it.

i have checked Michael's to avail. i thought for sure they would have something.

anybody have ideas? Home Depot?

No clue as to the size you are wanting to cover but you might look at sheets. They already have a hem so you'll get that finished look at the bottom. I've seen hem tap if you aren't into sewing as well as an assortment of velcro fasteners for hanging. I don't know if you can buy a bunk bed flat sheet without purchasing a set but might be worthy of a look.

sheets!!!!!! not bad idea.
Try a arts and craft store. They sell 3' x 2' x 1/8 " sized project boards that are satin black on one side and fairly cheap. They are very easy to cut to the right size and should meet your needs.
I'll have to go back and look at michaels again for project boards. not sure what that is, but i will take a look.

thanx guys

any more ideas?
keep em coming as i want it to look good and not cheap.....lol

Michael's isn't the right place to look. You should look at a store like JoAnn 's

https://www.joann.com/rip-stop-nylo...=Blacks&icn=fabric-sc&ici=color-black&start=1

That's just your basic nylon, but it's going to be fairly rigid. If you want something a little stretchier or more drapery-like try:

https://www.joann.com/performance-f...=Blacks&addShipToHomeConditions=false&start=1

Or if you need something that provides a little ventilation, there's a loose woven cotton:
