Cloud and Car icon with Circle Case

With the circle case on, when double tap the window there's a small cloud icon in the top left corner that disappears before the clock comes up. Anyone know what that means? Sometimes there's a car icon too. Usually it's when I'm in the car but I've seen it when I'm not. Anyone else have these or know what they mean?

The cloud icon means its checking backup, the car location, Google now records where your car (phone as been) parked you can switch it off if you dont like it just look at the Google now menu
