Cloud notetaking app with widget/shortcut to an individual note?

I'm looking for a list or note-taking app which will allow me to place a shortcut or widget to one specific note on my homescreen. The reason is that I want to put the family shopping list in a simple one-click location on the tablet in the kitchen, so that anyone can open and add to it with one tap. I then want to access it over the cloud when I'm doing the weekly shop (which may be when I'm in the office).
Does anyone know of an app with this sort of feature?

Thanks for the recommendations. I forgot to mention that I also wanted to access it from a PC web browser (not just an Android device), so Note Everything doesn't fit the bill. It also doesn't allow the creation of checklists, which is my preferred type of note for shopping lists.
I'm trying out GNotes but it seems very rough at the edges:
- Syncing with Gmail seems unstable (regular login failures)
- No way of deleting list items without backspacing over the text of the item
- Unpredictable behaviour of widgets (editing an item from a widget often breaks the link between the widget and the item).

I've reported these issues in the GNotes Help forum, so will wait to see if these are known issues. Looking at the forum, I have a suspicion that the product is not getting much active support.

Any other app suggestions welcome....

I use gtasks for this purpose. It syncs to the task list created in gmail. You can make a widget for as many notes as you want. It saves locally but syncs to the cloud as soon as you're connected to the internet. You can access the tasks/lists from any computer, tablet, phone via web browser if you like.

I've recently been trying to find an alternative to Bonsai to manage lists or ToDo items because it isn't cross platform. Bonsai has some outstanding features that I've found hard to replicate. But, I've recently been having good luck with Wunderlist. But, it doesn't appear to have the ability to have a desktop or home screen icon for a specific list.

Thanks - am trying it out now, but for some reason the sync seems flaky. I've just created 2 lists using the Gmail web interface, but I can't get them to sync to my phone, despite repeatedly clicking the refresh button. Is there something that I should know about the sync schedule for GTasks?

Ignore my last message - it was operator error!
