Root CM 7.2 : Won't let me add an account

I went to settings, accounts & sync, add account, enter my email/password. Brought me to a screen like:

Doman\Username
\emailusername

Password
*******

Server
gmail.com

[]Use secure connection (SSL)
[]Accept all SSL certificates

I hit next and says it couldn't conect to server. What do I do? I have service.. I have recieved/sent texts sooo yeah.

Also.. I had to download Google Play from somewhere else because it wasn;t on my phone.. when I open it it says I must add an account, hint, why im here, but when I click yes it just brings me to my home screen. but yeah.

I answered this on the other thread, but you need to flash Google apps after you flash the ROM and before you restart the phone.

Latest Google apps for CM7 are here: Latest Version/Google Apps - CyanogenMod Wiki (look at the table at the bottom and choose one of the links for CyanogenMod 7.)

Appreciate it. I thought it might be a Gapp problem from what i've seen trying to find a answer, but I couldn't find a link.

I have another question. So now im at 2.3.7, but Instagram/Temple Run don't show up in market. they are supposed to work on 2.2 and up. Any way to get them to work?
