Root CM10 / JB with data on boot

Thanks to Hashcode.

Last time I messed with a JB rom you had to toggle network settings for a half hour to try to get data to come up and no camera. As of today we have 4g data right on boot up and stock camera app doesn't connect but if you download Camera 360 Ultimate from the market, it works. So, data and camera, the two biggest things I was waiting for. Not sure how many other bugs are left but not too many are mentioned aside from Bluetooth/audio problems. Built-in Wifi tether seems to work too.

Good news, too bad Bluetooth isn't working. That's most important for me!

I've been running dhacker's AOKP JB build for a few days now and it is incredible! Solid data, camera works with camera360, mms works, google now

all great

other bugs i've come across are the capacitive buttons stay lit when you put the screen to sleep but that is easily fixed by toggling auto brightness on and off again.

I'm curious about hashcode's cm10 build from today though. has anyone tried it out?

dgdave - we know the camera doesn't work, as mentioned in my original post.

I haven't tried the new CM10 that I saw mentioned on Twitter yet. I would play it safe and definitely wipe and start over if you want to try it. Unless you contact the dev and ask if you can just flash it.

I actually just switched back to ICS 232 tonight because I finally bought a cheap HDMI cable to hook up to my TV and it seemed like mirror mode / hdmi out doesn't work on CM10. Went back to 232 and it connected to my TV right away so I know the cable is good.
