Root CM7.2 for S5830i

Hi guys.

So i recently rooted my S5830i and i was told the next steps should be to install Clockwork mod and CM7.2 to get the best out of my model. I was also told this has been known to fix the Wifi conectivity problem i am experiencing.

However from everything i have found online it appears both CWM and CM7.2 are available for the S5830 but i'm not sure if that means they can be installed on the S5830i, or if there are different versions for my model? I cannot find anything on google that would suggest either way.

Obviously i don't want to attempt an install if it will screw up my phone. Any advice in this matter would be much apreciated. Thanks

Ok, Thanks for that. But my real query was if i could put CM7.2 on my S5830I or if it's only compatable with S5830? CWR is fine for backing up your data. But i want CM7 to improve my phones performance.

Any info on that? I can't seem to find any.

I don't think CM is available for s5830i yet, you can try ram scripts and OC kernels to improve performance.
