Root CM7 and S2E

Ok I have done some reading and understand that S2E is stubborn and others have had the same issue with data transfer check boxes being grayed out. I have tried all that I can think of to get S2E to become useable. I know there are a few others running CM7 and would like to know what they did to get those boxes to become checkable? I really like CM but with the whole data folder on sd-ext it is very lagging once you start loading up apps. I had thought about flashing KoumaKernal but seems like I remember reading Kouma had tried to get it to work when CM7 was first ported and it was a no go. Any suggestions would be great.


Edit: OK I saw the other post someone just made for ssm on CM7 addressing the same issue i am having. No fixes but Kouma did post that he is still working on making KoumaKernal work with CM7. Can some one maybe post what they did to get S2E to work?

This should be talked about in the rooted section. Flash the ROM then get all up and running then go to play store and get s2e then check the boxes that you can then partition SD card then format SD card then reboot then without doing anything to reboot again then you should be able to check all the boxes. The double reboot is the trick, if you do anything in between double reboot that will mess it up. That is what works for me also backup your SD card first you will lose everything.

Thx I will give it another try and I did post this first in the CM7 thread but never got any response soooo I made a new thread and then of course saw the SSM on CM7 thread but what can I do? But thx anyway for informing me where I should be posting!

Update: still doesn't allow me to check off data options, tried a couple of times. i am just going to flash CT3.80 run it till I get rid of this Prevail.
