Root CM7 dissapointments

Is anybody else in this boat?

I love my Mytouch 4g, BUT, there are a couple of problems i'm having. I am happy with the ROM that i currently have on my phone (Royal Glacier), but i would like to upgrade to the CM7 mainly for have the 2.3.4 platform and skype front camera working. My only reservations are as follows:

1. My contacts from t-mobile don't upload
2. The keyboard doesn't have the easy switch to spanish button
3. the keyboard can't be set to vibrate with each keystroke
4. can't ''link'' contacts
5. no friend stream

That's basically it. I flashed CM 7 to my phone, but lost all my contacts, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of having a phone, but realized when i flashed back to Royal Glacier that they weren't really lost, the CM7 just didn't allow those contacts to load.

Not familiar with your phone at all, but did you make sure to wipe your system,data,cache and dalvik cache in the recovery before installing CM7?

You might try a factory reset or if all else fails, do the above and try to re install CM7.
