Root Cm7 nightlies

I,m running CM7 Encore and over the past few days it has become a little unstable. Force closes, etc. Can anyone recommend a newer nightly build they feel is stable.

I'd be interested as well. I don't have to have the latest, but it has to be stable. What good is a piece of hardware that reboots constantly.
 
Did you try fixing permissions in Rom Manager? :D

If you have the paid version of Rom Manager, you can check the ratings there.

#136 was rated good and Phiredrop used it for Phiremod test2.
 
I've been on #140 since it came out, it's been stable for me.
I (naturally) agree with Colchiro that you should fix permissions in Rom Manager before you do anything else. That often fixes force close problems.
 
Some people that do a lot of nightly builds say they fix permissions every time they install.

I haven't had issues until I installed #146 over Phiremod test2 (which suggests wiping data before installing) and couldn't even use it b/c of the FC's.

I'm considering adding the fix permissions to all my installation guides.

I would think the order would be:


  • flash rom
  • flash gapps
  • fix permissions
  • reboot
