Root cm9/cm10 update?

is there going to be any further developments on aCM9 and possibly a cm10 ? this would be great considering the fact that it's already developed but there is no further development on it and it stopped at Alpha...

I'm not trying to complain, but the boot loader was unlocked and I have been very hopeful on a possible port... I seen another thread someone said they compiled it on the p930, but the baseband is diff... plus the partition structure, could the baseband be the key to unlocking the cm9 4g!?!?

Also, please port cm10!!

Asking for an eta is generally considered a criminal offense on developer forums. Just so you know. As far as cyanogenmod/aokp go, they are still under development. Developing a rom from scratch on a phone that doesn't have an open source kernel is a lot harder than it sounds. To answer your other question, the baseband usually needs to stay the same as far as I know. From what I understand, if that changes or gets messed up then your phone is pretty much worthless unless you can fix it.

not to be mean or anything but he didn't even ask for a eta, eta is when you ask when is this, when is that coming out. all he ask was were the devs still developing on cm9/cm10, thats it, nothing about an eta.

It really is a good question though= Are the devs still developing on cm9/cm10?

It's all good. I guess I misread the first part of his post. The devs are still working on cm9. PG just updated his cm9 rom a week or two ago with some RIL files trying to get data going. No luck yet though. In all reality, cm9 is as stable as the stock-based ics roms but the radios in the phone and the kernel just don't get along quite yet.
