Root CM9 Galaxy Ace Problems

Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace. It is running on a cyanogenmod 9. I'm experiencing camera problems, when I use the camera the quality is very low compared before I upgraded it. And when I downloaded camera app from play store its all black.
Can you suggest any solution? Also can i downgrade it to CM7?
Thanks..

First off welcome to the forums netherdrake07 :)

I have moved your thread into the Galaxy Ace all things root forum so that your issue can be better solved.

I would suggest to reflash CM9 and then factory reset the device!

Well i have not used the CM9 personally but i know that its an unofficial version and is still in development phase so there are bound to be bugs and stuff. Moreover the camera and video is one of the major issues in this rom due to unavailability of proper video libraries from qualcomm.

Try another camera app from play store, you might get the still camera working but video is still not possible. There might not be a preview of the picture available but i think you will get the picture in the gallery.

You can easily revert to CM7, they are both ext file systems, just get any CM rom and flash it normally. Or if you have any previous backup you can restore to it.
