Root CM9 Still at it... Anyone have achevements? Post here (\/)

Can anyone list the problems and the most likely causes for the problems in CM9?? I would like to spend my time doing something useful for once...lmao!:D:D:D
Edit: Can we theme it? If so what class is it? gingerbread/froyo?
 
Well where to start..

Some of the more exper. users would probally say to recompile cm9...I think im more of an optimistic and think what we have now can be fixed without starting over and such..

Some of the more important thing that are NOT working would be

1-Video Playback---your netflix and you tube video pleasure
2-Still a lil choppy and kinda slow..requires patience
3-Camera
4-Quite a few stock apps which include gallery..browser..music (which is why i just replaced most of the ones not working for apps that would
5-Audio has way to much bass...dps helps but still
6-bluetooth

probally a few other lil odds and ends..

Hroark got most of the important things working for us...
 
Okay well stock browser works for me after I ran the 3gturbo and v6super, As for responsiveness I am perfectly happy with the kaktweak and running at 888Mhz.Bluetooth will be a b***%# but I am currently messing with that. And the camera will be a scratch thing I am sure of it. any one have any kind words for CM9 or something new to add of their endeavors than please feel free to do so...
 
I think I read somewhere that the camera drivers go in a different place in ics than they did in gingerbread. I don't remember where though if that was the case. I doubt that it would be as easy as copying or linking drivers anyway. But maybe something to look into if anyone decides to try to compile them.

Ima look into a (patch) for the camera and stuff alike, (Ie.Bluetooth) as for now I am trying to get a Idea of how we can get a better theme for it, I think we could port a 4.0 and use those directory's.

Edit: And battery life...
 
You might check out source.android.com ICS
You can compare the source to the cm9 and kinda figure out where things go.
You could also check the source for 2.3.6 there
Definitely might help with troubleshooting
