Root CM9 "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped."

Just switched my ROM to CM9. I can't use the setup wizard. Tried doing it manually through settings (to set up my Google account) and it didn't work. Tried once more and it said my account was already on the phone. So when I went to press my home button to exit out of the setup, it doesn't take me to my home screen. Actually if I go to any menu, my home button will not bring me to the home screen. It will leave it stuck at the menu.

I rebooted a couple of times now to see if it would work. Still the same thing.

did you make sure you did a clean install of CM9? it's really important to make sure you do factory reset, and clear Dalvik cache before you install, this is true going between the same version, but especially important if switching between different versions

Yeah. I've installed around four different ROMs on my phone now, three of which have been CM. I follow all the same steps every time. First I make a nandroid backup. I wipe data/factory reset. I clear Dalvik. And I format /cache. I also flash gapps just in case each time I am doing a CM ROM. Then flash the ROM and reboot.

Right now I have restored my phone to my nandroid backup from earlier today, before I flashed CM9. Just until someone can help me solve the issue. Cause I really want CM9 on my phone, but I need a functioning phone at the moment. :/

did you make sure you installed the right version of gapps? I messed that up once, made it so none of them could work, other possibility is a bad download, might try downloading the rom and gapps again and move them over to the phone again, just to try it fresh sometimes that helps

I am pretty sure I have the correct, up to date version. I'll do a double take on this and let you know what happens... BRB :D

Edit - works. Thanks.
