Root Cm9?

Hey guys,

I wanted to know if there was any sort of development for a CM9 or ICS rom in progress. This phone has so much potential, yet it's so hindered by LG's UI. Thanks much!!!

i havent seen much about it.. but im guessing that development for the spectrum aint gonna get good unti we get the official ics updaate

Yea we shouldn't even be thinking about cm9 right now cause we ain't getting it anytime soon but I believe someone is working on a cm7 build but currently is having problems with it

I'm working on a cm7 build but hit a roadblock with the device files. The building flashes and boots, but to a gray screen.

Cm9 is no where near a reality because 4.0 has major conflicts with most devices that requires HALs be made to be compatible. But we need a device repo for cm7 before cm9 can even be thought of.
