I heard that 6 is the most stable rom but was wondering if anyone thinks 8 is better cuz I am about to flash my phone for the first time and want the best possible rom. Thanks

I'm using 8b right now (about a week or so i think), haven't had any issues so far. Well not true completely, the issues I had were pretty much user related idiocy. but it runs pretty smooth and fast. no complaints. but i am still going to flash another rom today just to amuse myself.

Why cognition as opposed to one of the other roms out there? Just curious...

I don't about him, but the only reason I flashed Cognition was because there was a YouTube video that showed step by step procedure. I didn't learn how good Cognition actually was until after I flashed

LOL that's as good a reason as any.
There really is not much difference, if any at all, from rom to rom.
Edit: I meant no difference in how to flash the roms. Obviously there are differences in the roms themselves.

It does overclock. I did not have any issues with it, but you should check over at xda.
Also, you can always change the kernel to a non-overclocked kernel.

Lol I would have to agree sir. That's the reason I am going to flash it as well youtube is the greatest ever for instructional vids

yah that guy did a REALLY good job with video. really helped a lot. although i did sub in a few step here and there. but all in all, it was very helpful for a first time flasher
Im still on 6.. Tried 7&8 but the mail program does not work with my exchange account. 7&8 have a different mail.apk I have not found a simple way to fix the mail problem. I exchange account is 2010, i think that has something to do with it. I had the same problem when flashing to a few other roms as well. If anyone knows of simple fix for this (like an update package) id love to know about it.
