Color Notes App

Just click the "+" to add a note. "Text" is just a general note, "Checklist" is like a shopping list. Add a Title in blank. Click "+" to add an item.... Click phone's menu/settings to tweak your preferences.

Or just go to Appbrain and click "Official Page" and watch the 3rd video down.

When I found out that Notepad did not come on the Droid X2 I figured it must be an app now. I downloaded Color Notes and then transferred my notes from my old phone. I like that they are now color coded.

I'm actually surprised that I was able to figure this one out rather easily.

How did you transfer notes from your old phone? I have one very long list on Color notes on my old phone that I want to transfer to the new phone and not have to re-enter all the info.

How did you transfer notes from your old phone? I have one very long list on Color Notes on my old droid that I want to transfer to the new droid and not have to re-enter all the info.
 
Really easy. (You need a SD card.) While in the ColorNotes app. Select Menu> Backup. (Make sure that you create a password first.) You can set it to do an automatic back up, which is everyday, or you can do it manually.

Just bought a Razr Maxx ... way cool .. and transferred my notes from my SD card no muss no fuss. I am getting worried about potentially losing my phone and now have signed in with online backup as well as SD. So if I lose my phone with its SD card ... how do I back up from the online backup??
