ColorNote Notepad Notes: A smartphone must, even with its simplicity

Just wanted to say that I've had to move my ColorNotes app to a new phone 3 times, from upgrading or replacement, and this most recent time, yesterday, it went beautifully. All my notes just appeared automatically. Thank you so much. ColorNotes is now perfect!:-)

I use Colornotes. The Samsung calendar and note app disappeared when I rooted the phone. I like this app as it stays on my phone and doesn't bug me to sync anywhere.
I just use it for shopping and appointments, plus maybe a few notes I don't want to forget.

After running across it, it is one of the first apps I installed and haven't stopped using it since. Nice, light and simple to use.

Ive tried "Catch Notes"? It seemed too "busy" or over endulged with so much I got lost in just one note. Its nice attaching pics, etc, but way too much going on in that app for me. ColorNotes still #1 for me too!.....
....By the way, S.T. how much that rented space going fer?.....i is thinking about expanding!

Yep, I was underwhelmed with catchnotes too. I was hunting around for a notes app that allowed attached images, pdfs, docs, etc. But after trying catch, ever note, simple notepad, and a few others I gave up. They all had their limitations or quirks and I decided just to wait and hope that colornote gains these features in a future update.

I'll rent it to you for $19.95 per month!!! :D

I used Color Note for a long time, and it's a great simple notepad, but if you're the sort of person who likes to organize their notes I find Evernote is a better option.

I must admit that when I first tried evernote some time back I was impressed. However, after a few hours of use it began to irk me! My biggest gripe of course being the subscription requirement if you wish to have the ability to lock the app. Of course I could just use Tasker or such to lock it, but the whole ethos behind an app that would require me to do that rubs me up the wrong way.
I suppose that if you're happy to have your notes easily accessible and can stay within the 50mb (I think?) limit, or you are prepared to pay the subscription, then you may like evernote.
But hey, maybe it's just me, I'm still looking for the *right* notes app. I've tried dozens ("simple notepad" being the chief contender, but boy is it ugly!) but keep going back to colornotes - which for me has only two real flaws: no image support and improper handling of text sent/shared to it. If those issues were resolved I'd quite happily purchase colornotes if a pro version were to be released.

Ive switched to newer apps over the years from what Ive started'n out with back when my T.E.D.-IV was a brand new baby android. But today, I still use ColorNotes after growing a wild hair and checking out the "latest and greatest" on the "market". I keep coming back to my trusty ole ColorNotes!

Hello guys! Would must like to ask, does colornotes support handwriting/pen?

I just got the note 2 and im looking for a recommended note taking app for it.. Aside from the built in "S note" app

Thank you very much :)

Blue I'm not sure it does that. Have you tried it out yet on your new Note2?. Whats your findings?
