You should be able to load it by going to All Programs -> VoicemailThat's strange because I never see that program running in task manager, and I think that may be why my visual voicemail doesn't work. Any idea on how to load it? Do I need to hard-reset my phone?![]()
That just loads my voicemail app. I still have no Visual voicemail. Is there a setting I'm overlooking?![]()
Google Voice will transcribe your voicemail as well as "read" it to you, and I get the feeling that the transcribing part was what he was looking for as well.Sounds to me that you are confused as to what the visual voicemail is. From what I am reading, it sounds like you think that you will be able to read your voicemail rather that have to listen to them?
This is no the case. the visual voicemail is simply an app that allows you to access the voicemail without having to dial into a system, as well as pause, replay, delete, lock and forward at the push of a button.
Hope I got you right, and if not please clarify so that we can give you a better answer.
Im guessing you mean besides the standard GV app? That's exactly right Edaze. Sorry i didn't clarify myself. There was a homebrew-Google Voice app I used to use on my Palm Pre. It would transcribe my voicemails into text. Very slick. that's what I thought HTC meant when they advertised Visual Voicemail on the Hero.
Is there a Market App that can do this?
