Root com.htc.bgp Force Close

I'm having this exact same issue and it seems that it has to do with Android's location tracking. If you go to (connected to the internet in some way) Settings >> Location and enable "use of wireless network" you'll see that once you disable it and enable it the error occurs, at least on my Wildfire. Like you I also uninstalled some stock apps. I think that probably the DCSStock had something to do with it... I really don't know what it does but after I removed I read that I shouldn't removed it Luckily I have them backed up I just don't know how to install it again..

I got the com.htc.bgp force close error after I rooted my wildfire and removed some weather apps on my phone.

this is an issue with the HTC sense roms.

using system tuner for its free app freezing function, I identified 1 cause for the bgp force close pop-up message.

it was caused by the absence of "weather provider.apk" which also does:
-get location data for the clock widget so it can tell you the name of your area, rather than just display the generic time zone name.

to test for the error, I found that turning GPS off then on was a reliable method to invoke the bgp error. once weather provider apk was unfrozen, the error didn't occur.

I believe there are also other causes for the bgp error.
