Lurker
That new 16 pin (or however many it is) on the Apple has sent me over the edge. On top the lack of providing a large screen, an operating system that doesn't bore me to death and make me feel shackled, and now having about 800 ipod chords around the house that have been rendered useless if I waste my upgrade on an Iphone 5, I've decided to steer clear of apple.
Sorry for the run on sentence, I'll end the rant here.
So from what I've been reading I've narrowed my choices to the following (I'd like to stay under $200 for an upgrade) I'm grandfathered into AT&T's unlimited data plan so I'd like to stay with them.
HTC One X - solid looking phone, drawbacks are the battery life and limited storage, as well as the uncertainty of jelly bean release, but HTC makes a good product and for 100 dollars the phone is a bargain.
HTC One X + eliminates the drawbacks listed above but will likely debut at the top of my budget and who knows when (November supposedly)
Samsung Galaxy S III - had bad luck with Samsung quality in the past, 3 phones in 6 months. I'm sure I had a very isolated experience but it's still a concern. Does everything I want a phone to do though and the storage and battery are best.
Google Nexus - Again a Samsung product, but I really like the ability to upgrade as soon as a new android is available without having to wait on AT&T to tell me if it's ok or not. Also I like that the phone is unlocked so if AT&T does anything to piss me off I can drop and run with phone in hand and use it on another network.
Any other ideas or options I should look into?
Thanks in advance everyone. Glad to be coming home to Android.
