Root Community ROM and Quadrant

I am running the new Community Rom which is Voodoo only. After re-running Quadrant again (coming from non-VD SC 2.9.2) Quadrant is still less than 1000. Did I do something wrong? The phone works fine...just confused by lack of awesome performance. I rooted by putting SU 2.3.6.1 on my SD and flashing in case that's relevant.

You must have voodoo disabled. Check your sdcard for a file or folder called disablevoodoo or disable lagfix and make sure you have the defaults set correctly in CWR.

Will I do any harm to by turning voodoo on so late? I don't want to start from stock again

nope, it will just convert your file system (you will here a woman robot voice at bootup)
