Root Community ROM

This ROM is pre-rooted, deodexed, zipaligned, busybox, init.d (software not kernel) enabled and romcleaner was used to clean bloat but obviously it wasn't all removed.
Soon as my other ROM that's been modified to my taste is done uploading I'll upload it too. I want this to be a community ROM, a ROM we all create. If anyone wants to help with skinning and come up with new ideas to add it would be awesome!
To flash this you must boot up into cwm, flash the zip and factory reset/clear data/cache.

I've flashed this onto my device and can confirm it works but I am not responsible if you happen to brick your device. After booting for the first time it may stay at the boost logo, don't fret, just let it sit for a few minutes, it's booting up for the first time and needs to set itself up.

Enjoy :)

This one was modified to my liking and more heavily debloated. If there's any more apks you guys know of I should remove let me know.

Edit
I also highly recommend you make a backup first in case you want to restore, also download nandroid manager to restore your data like texts and apps (although I prefer to reinstall my apps)

this may be a stupid question and i don't mean to offend if i missed something but how do we put cwm on our phone?? i can't wait to try this and the idea of an open ROM is awesome :) Thanks for taking the time to make this!

BTW sands, this ROM is just stock, but rooted zipaligned deodexed and init.d enabled. The point of this post/release is to have a base for custom stock Roms. If you flash this the only difference you'll notice is maybe a slight improvement in performance if your device has begun to run slow.

Tons of ideas, but mainly the ability to use our ir blaster on a much larger scale... Maybe a mod to allow video output from the USB.... Etc.
Sadly, I am not a dev, or I would love to help

Idk what phone the ls720 is. But if it's just the VM version of the 740 and they use the same firmware then they should. After flashing just update your prl/profile.

I'm gonna have to use boot camp on my Mac to get this Rom on my phone. I love this, phone but the lack of custom roms makes me sad. Thanks for starting this!

Was thinking about installing the 2nd rom this weekend, but I was wondering what you did to modify it to your liking?
Also any luck with the g2 blaster?
I was messing around before trying to get a different qremote working, but the farthest I could get with it was it installed but when opened would only show the terms and conditions screen. I had been reading something about creating a script that would fix that issue, but I couldn't get that to work.

It's got the Google now launcher and a bunch of other Google apps that would be on a stock Google ROM. In other words, I tried to make it as vanilla as possible with a few other apps that had more features than the stock ROM.

Is this the same ROM from the other thread based on ZV4?

Please work on getting the G2 quick remote app ported to the Volt. I know this is an old thread but I think many people would benefit from this.

I have thrown some android L stuffs (boot animation, keyboard, other things) and I say it makes it cozzy. If you have Closed, use G2Tweaksbox and you can also make quick settings like the G3 L style too
