Hello everyone, could anyone that have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime that was bought thru Straight Talk? I have the Galaxy S4 and it has to many features I don't need and it runs off Att. From what I see online is that the Core Prime runs off Verizon which my old phone ran off of and I had great signal. Its just the phone from Straight Talk as well was going on 4 years old with only 1 gig of memory to use.

Any pros and cons between the two phones would be great to hear from people that actually have them and how they run. I also want something smaller then the Galaxy and not so slim.

1. I got the Straight Talk Core Prime initially because it ran through Verizon and was highly recommended by the Straight Talk guy.
2. It works fine and has 8GB internal – didn't have to move any apps to SD.
3. Your poll has choices for three phones but then you say, "Any pros and cons between the two phones."
4. You may want to have this thread moved to the Straight Talk forum.

Thanks for your info. I'm just getting used to using this site with my busy schedule. Your right about the poll. I was just looking at the features of the other one. I will look into moving this thread on how it's done

I have a friend on Straight Talk, and he is using the model that runs on Verizon.
he chose that on purpose because Verizon has the Best Network in the nation.

We both work in Communications and have worked with the carriers in our jobs at 911 tech support.

he gets the best of two worlds, the best carrier, and a cheap phone.

But, as I found out the hard way, not all their phones go through Verizon, some go through AT&T or Sprint. In the ST store, it says which on each phone's box – the store rep can help decode that.
