compatible external hard drives?

I know there is the segate goflex satellite, but its software is a bit sketchy and the price is $200.

Would this phone be able to connect to an external hard drive via microusb (such as western digital's my passport essential SE) if i got one? If i got a file manager and navigated around to the HDD, would it be able to play video's/music?

u can use a app.. i dont know if u can directly connect a external via usb.. but there are apps that allow u 2 view & play music & video thru connected devices on your pc wirelessly.. vlc direct allows u 2 view externals connected to your pc & view em on your phone....

well when vlc comes to android then we'll see...

also ill be able to connect my mybook to the device to see if it works at all when my phone arrives then if it does ill buy a my passport essential SE 1 TB for it
