Complete Application Using

Hello everyone, I have a quick question that seems to be a problem for me. I just got my droid phone maybe a week ago, (LG Optimus V), and today I have been constantly getting a pop up message asking which browser (Browser or Opera) to complete the application in. When I go to say Opera, it takes me to a weird page with a weird ad URL. Earlier I tried connecting to my Wi-fi, and that pop up came up, and essentially rendered my phone useless till I had to pop the battery out. Any suggestions to help? Thanks.

Something on your phone is trying to open a website. The phone doesn't know what default app it should use to open the website. That prompt is just asking you which app to use as the browser.

At the bottom of the prompt, there is a check box. If you check that first, then whichever app you choose will become the default app in the future.

Next question: What app is trying to open websites of advertisements automatically? I can't answer that for you.
