My new Samsung Galaxy S2 has just broken. The camera is taking cloudy pictures and the volume button is broken when. It will not go all the way to zero and at max it sounds like people are at the end of a long tunnel and whispering to me.
So I reported the phone as broken (after 3 weeks) and they have sent me a special envelope and told me to send it back for free repair. However they have warned me they are going to delete everything on my phone.
I have followed the instructions and used a program called Kies that Samsung seem to recommend. It seems to have backuped everything but I see no mention of the apps I have downloaded, the settings within those apps, the high scores on all my games and the screen layout that I have spent hours working on.
How do I know if I done enough with Kies so that screen layout and apps are backupped? Or can it just be so that the programmers behind Kies do not have the knowledge to create a proper backup function?
I will not know before I restore it when I get my phone back. It is very important because I have a bubble game with 648 levels and you can't move to next level before you finish level before. I am on level 472 and don't want to play 471 levels to get back to here when the phone is done.
So, in other words. Does anyone know is Kies has probably done this already or do I need something else?
