Apps Complete N00b - Need guidance into managing app releases

Hi folks,

I'm totally new to the app development world (but very excited to a part of it).

[FONT=&quot]I need to institute a QC/QA process to reduce the number of known bugs we publish in our software updates. Because our next release will be cross-platform and on the web, the need for tighter QA is critical. I also need to develop a repeatable process by which I can engage our early signup members with the closed beta product. [/FONT]

What online resources/books can I read to tackle this?
