Root (COMPLETED) Shall I make a video on how to root and install recovery and such?

Hello my fellow commando users!
How many of you would benefit from watching a video that I would make this weekend about how to root and install gnm recovery and such? If I get enough likes or responses i'll make one. I had bought an extra phone by accident, so I can get that one up and running.
Anything to make the phone more enjoyable...;)

Yes yes and yes! I never searched YouTube but the commando could use that there's the guide but some people are very visual.
 
including messages I have received, I have enough that I believe will benefit. the date for creation will be Fri-Sat. I will post it on Saturday, the same day.
 
I feel that a step-by-step video on rooting would be very beneficial.. I'm always seeing people asking for just this sort of thing.
 
Yes, please. I am starting to notice some slow down on mine as I add more stuff, and I'm thinking about rooting to remove some bloatware.
 
make sure to emphasize acurracy in adb.... i had a single space at the end of a line and couldnt find it that slowed me down. then later i didnt capitalize a letter which slowed me down again i cant stress enough how annoying that was for me and the guide working me through it. so let the people know!!!! also the wifi offff that is huge. the warnings about the pittfalls i think are way more important than the instructions even. Rooting is simple but its also simple to do it wrong if you dont know better. also putting the android file right in the C drive is a good idea when you do it because almost everyguide uses c\androidSDK as there cmd prompt line example.
 
as promised, today I have begun work on the video. I'm no professional video editor, but I think it will get what it needs to across. expected completion date is still tomorrow.
 
I'm sorry to say guys but there will be a delay in the making of my video as because I am filming it on one phone and my cat broke up and ate the micro sd card that the film was on. The cat is fine, but the card obviously is not.
Sorry bout that. Don't leave sd cards out on the kitchen table.
 
I have heard of the "dog eating my homework" excuse before but never "the cat ate my SD card?. Glad kitty is OK.

I too would love to see this video. I appreciate all the work you have put into this phone.
 
yes i am quite serious. he did. I found part of it today when i was taking care of his litter:D
anyway, i have resumed work on this video, and am now working on a whole new approach to it. I only have a few seconds done so far, but I think it will be very helpful still.
 
Update:
I have all the footage, now i must edit it all the clips together and add descriptions and captions.
Half way there!
