Completely new to android

Purchased a new MIDX5A and a Pandigital Novel for Christmas and a whole new worled opened ;). But having a few difficulties as both are a bit lacking in manuals and tech support.

Love the MIDX5A as can watch UTube, has a much more interactive android market. But also want to keep the Pandigital Novel. So how do I play UTube and have the same type of Android Market place on both devices?

Love your forums have already answered a few of my basic questions.

It's my understanding (and someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) that the Pandigital Novel is, at this time, a basic ereader with a few extras, like a clock, calendar, music player, browser, weather, etc. No access to Market at this time, but plans to have it included in a firmware upgrade in the future. For video, it currently supports MPEG4 only.

You said it was lacking in manuals, not sure if you meant it didn't have one, or the one it had wasn't very useful. If it's the former, you can download the manual here: Pandigital » Downloads -- Pandigital Novel eReaders (my best friend got one for Christmas, and, being a nook owner, I had to check it out myself).

All that said, it looks like a really nice ereader with the potential to be a reasonably decent tablet if they can manage to get that sorted out.

Few tablets, at this time, have native access to the Android Market. The reason for this is that Google does not officially support the use of Android with tablets. When Android Honeycomb is released Google will begin their official support of tablets. Till then you can, unofficially, look to the customizers to figure out how to get the Android Market running on a device... :D
