Okay, my girlfriend and I broke up a few weeks ago (don't feel bad, I broke up with her
). We are both on a Family Share plan atm and both have smart phones (HTC Eris and LG Ally).
Here's what I want to do: I want to cancel my line and go back to a dumb phone (to save money, not because I prefer them, I'm moving to Europe soon and need the $). She wants to keep her Ally.
I am the primary line on the account (account's in my name obviously). I know one way to get out of a contract is to put the account into someone else's name. Could I put the account in her name (thus, making her the primary line) and then just cancel my line? Thus, only paying one ETF and not two?
