Help Computer can't detect phone after failed attempt to flash ICS firmware

Hi everyone. I've searched all over the internet to find a solution to my problem, but no luck so far. I rooted my Samsung Epic 4 G, the counter is at 2, and I have a USB jig. When I tried flashing the Ice Cream Sandwhich firmware, it stopped half way and failed, and I exited download mode by pulling the battery out. When I turned it back on , i couldn't 3 button force it into download mode again. I have a USB jig that gets it into "factory mode" but it doesn't reset the counter. I also can get it into download mode by pressing the volume down key and connecting it to the USB from the computer But after the failed attempt to flash ICS, my computer doesn't detect my phone at all. It's as if I didn't insert anything. Can anyone help me please? thank you!

Epic Touch? If so wrong forum. If not, there isn't an ICS build that's applied through download mode, only custom roms flashed through CWM. If you have any drivers setup on the computer for your device try uninstalling them and restarting the computer. Also try other USB ports.
