Is there an app to turn a G1 into a computer diagnostic device or a way to do this from this phone at all? I work on computers as a side business and it would be great if I could use it as such. Thanks.
There may not be just one app to do it all, but there are a huge number of apps that can help you evaluate a large number of problems.
Wifi Analyzer, for example, will help you find a solution for wireless networking problems.
You could poke around the android market, google for android apps to solve specific problems, or go to my new fave website, AndroidZoom, and search.
I kinda like AndroidZoom because it'll let you sort apps based on popularity and rating, as well as free or paid. And it seems to be set up better for a pc to browse.
