I've been trying to follow the directions to update my Galaxy S, and I get up to installing Kies Mini. Then I plug my phone in and I've tried on both MS Vista and XP, but the computer doesn't read my phone or install drivers. I tried downloading the drivers and continuing on the Vista computer, but still nothing. Does anyone have any idea why and tips on how to fix it so I can get the recent update finally?

Thanks for the tips, I'm trying them, but they still don't seem to be working.
The main thing is that the computer is not picking up my phone as being an external drive or anything. There's no recognition that it's doing anything. Even when I switch back to twlauncher and stuff. Are there any other apps that might interfere with that aside from launcher pro and stuff?
