Help computer doesn't recognize my phone

hi, i have a samsug galaxy precedent and my dell desktop wont recognize my phone when i plug it in. before it worked fine and i was able to transfer music to my phone, but now the comp just says it doesnt recognize the devise.

If you plug it into a different USB port, the computer thinks it's a different device.

If you use a different cable, it could be one that will charge the phone, but not data-connect to the computer properly.

You could also try to reinstall the driver.

Reinstall the drivers. Windows has that problem
