Help Computer doesn't recognize S2

Hi all, I know that this has been asked multiple times on this thread but I think mine is a little unique. When I plug the phone in the computer gives me the error about the usb not recognized. I have done the following.

Uninstalled and reininstalled Keis
Manual install of the drivers
put it into mass storage mode
did a factory reset of the phone
tried multiple ports, computers, and usb cables.

I know it is not the computer (windows 7) or the cable, or the drivers because I have a second S2 that is recognized instantly. The phone was rooted and has CWM installed. I have tried unrooting and removing CWM.

Originally the issue I was having is that the power button was sticking but when I fixed that, my computer will not recognize it anymore.

Anyone have any ideas? I only ask because my brother is having the exact same problem.

I guess I was premature in my post. Just after posting I thought I would search the forums again and came across reply to a thread that suggested using a toothpick or guitar pick to move the USB connection in the bottom of the phone slightly. I did so and eventually the computer recognized it and I was able to use Odin and factory reset the rom. Hope this helps someone else.
