Hi,
I am interesting in knowing if the Motorola triumph could work as a hot spot for my iPad. Does the phone have tethering capabilities that would enable it to be a hot spot for my iPad?

Welcome to Android Forums! :)

Any phone with Android 2.2 (FroYo) or higher has tethering enabled within the OS. If you go to menu>settings>wireless & networks you should see an option there for tethering and portable hotpsots. That's where you would enable and setup tethering. However, if you are in the U.S. and the phone is carrier supported, that option has most likely been removed and replaced with a tethering option by the carrier which you must subscribe to for an additional monthly fee.
