Concerned about 6.0 performance

Is the Snapdragon 615 and 2gb of ram on this thing really going to be enough for smooth performance on Android 6.0? I've been reading about people having lag with the Nexus 5x and that phone has an 808 with 2gb of ram, so I'd assume this phone would perform worse.

I saw a review of the Hauwei G8 and it had choppy performance on Lollipop. It is basically the same thing

Honor will continue to enhance the device experience with regular software updates. We already have a BetaClub team that is testing each software release, and we are listening to their feedback to keep improving the overall device experience.

My wife has the Nexus 5x and I can say the memory management and process control is significantly improved over a comparable device on 5.1.1. I believe that if a few bugs can be ironed out of the EMUI (which are already int he works) the Honor line will have NO problems supporting 6.0 MM.
