Conctacts won't show up.. help

When i go to my contacts there's are no conctact.I tried to import some of them from sim card and even adding some but there aren't appearing again.. .When some of the contacts call me the name is there but it isn't in the contacts... Btw i am using se x8 android 2.1 ..

Try this, go into contacts and press the menu button. Select "Contacts to view", tap on Phone contacts and make sure that they are selected.
