Conditional Alarm

HI everyone...

Being in the midst of Hurricane Sandy, and with a sump pump that likes to run constantly with the first drop of rain, I'm concerned about my power going out over night. If it does, I'm in manual bail out mode.

I was wondering if anyone knows of an alarm app that can alert me conditionally... either (a) if my USB power goes out, or (b) if it is no longer connected to a wireless network. I figure either of those two events would mean I have no power... so wake me up, and I can do what I need to.

Any suggestions?

If anyone else is interested... I found an app called "WiFi Alarm" that does a stellar job notifying you when it disconnects from a network. Works like a charm.

That application sounds good. For monitoring phone state based on power through the mains charger or USB you could try Tasker an application that can monitor just about any "state" its in but it looks like you've found the application you need already with the Wifi

If the context isn't met (power = off) then it does a task like make the alarm inside Tasker go off or open any application of your choice. Anyway hope all goes well :)
