Listening to some of the callers on CSPAN argue about Amy Coney Barrett's qualifications is a primer on precisely why appellate judges should NOT be elected.

OTOH, at least clueless morons can voice their opinions on CSPAN...

never really watched cspan.....did not know you can call in.....lol

i think it should be law that in an election year the SC nominee should be done until after the presidential election is over. the republicans were right.......in 2016. now they are just being hypocritical!!!!

No reason for that other than fairness but it is a recent innovation. Fairness I meant. Now we have Trumpism. Much more recent.
