Help conflicting apps

Hello, I have the mesmerize on us cellular network, and had been using the daily briefing app, however i went into the news and weather app, and set my location which works fine, however now everytime i go into the daily briefing app, it gives an error message, and says i must force close it, any ideas on why this is happening? thanks much. reade.

Have you tried to reboot the phone?

i'm assuming you meant to reboot by turning the power off and then back on, is that right ?

Yes. Unfortunately I don't really know what else to suggest. I never use the daily briefing.
