Confused/frustrated with native music app.

I have a Galaxy II S Skyrocket running version 2.3.5. I use this to play back self help programs only. I created a playlist but it playing back in the order I added the files not by track number so it's playing 216, 215, 214... not 101, 102, 103. Is there an easy way to correct this without having to redo the playlist? Also I would like the player to resume playing the last track that was playing and in the same position when I stopped the app or turned off the phone. Will the native player do this. It doesn't from what I can tell do it when playing one track at a time but it does play them in correct order.

Thanks

Another vote for PowerAmp pro. Been a fan since I had my og droid. Now use it on my razr, after all this time I have yet to find any other music app that comes close to PowerAmp pro.

PowerAmp is by far the best music player, but if you're listening to audiobooks and other recordings, it isn't going to do what you need it to. You'll need to get an audiobook player for those features.

I can't recommend any because I don't listen to audiobooks but I just did a Market search and there were a few free ones (search ''audiobook player''). Smart Audiobook Player looks good based on the rating, but you can try them all.

UssjTrunks I hadn't thought about an audio book player until I saw another post concerning them. Your right that's what I need. Thanks
