Root Confused... Rooting... PLEASE HELP GUYS

this is what i have done so far via this weblink... DroidViews | Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (All Models)

I added this SuperUL to the start of the SD card...

Downloaded this Odin 1.85 and extracted to desktop.

Downloaded CF AUTO ROOT EXPRESSION file for the P5110. (Checked and is correct file...)

Went into tablet enabled USB DEBUGGING

I went to turn off, then power and Vol Down, got the message about Custom OS warning. i press down to confirm.

Took me to main screen as usual but with some limited functionity
Went to Odin 1.85, the Yellow COM appear as shown in the website,

Unticked this Auto Reboot as adviced,

Went to run it. then nothing happens... what am i doing wrong?

This SUPERUI file on SD CARD what am i supposed to do with it?
 
boot it into Download mode didnt work tho
why?

Using Root checker. says it does not have proper root access

am i being thick?? confused really

its going to be a busy day for me but let me see what I can figure out for you:D
 
Do you have the P5110 model?
Did you download and extract the recovery file? If it was downloaded as a .tar file, no need to unzip it.
Do you have the drivers installed?
Did you run Odin as "administrator"?
Make sure that only F. Reset Time option is ticked on Odin. Uncheck the Auto Reboot option.


Are you selecting the .tar file to flash whilst in Odin and in PDA?

I know, sorry for all the questions:p

You could try to redownload the CF file...a fresh download and try it again.
